Delete your DocDroid account

You can permanently delete your DocDroid account and all of your health data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what is removed.

This cannot be undone. Deletion is immediate and permanent — we cannot recover your account or your records afterwards. If you only want to remove a single report, you can delete that report on its own from inside the app and keep your account.

How to delete your account

In the app

  1. Open the DocDroid app and go to the Profile tab
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
  3. Enter your password to confirm
  4. Confirm the final prompt — deletion begins immediately

On the web

  1. Sign in at docdroid.ai and open My Profile
  2. Scroll to the bottom and select Delete Account
  3. Enter your password to confirm

By email

If you can't sign in, email john@docdroid.ai from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify it's you and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

Everything below is erased permanently from our systems, including the original files you uploaded:

  • Your account and login details
  • All medical reports you uploaded, including the original files
  • All extracted lab results and health values
  • Health trends and any AI interpretations of your reports
  • AI Health Assistant conversations
  • Medications, vitamins and supplements
  • Symptom logs and daily check-ins
  • Emergency information — allergies, conditions, blood type
  • Every family member profile you created
  • All sharing links you generated, which stop working immediately
  • Consents granted to hospitals or insurance companies

What we keep, and for how long

Anonymised security logs

We keep records of security-relevant events such as sign-ins and data access, but your identity is removed from them at deletion, so they can no longer be linked back to you. We keep these to protect all users against unauthorised access.

Backups

Your data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before those backups expire. Backups are never used to restore a deleted account.

Records already shared with a clinician

If a doctor or hospital saved a copy of something you shared with them, that copy belongs to their records and is outside our control. Your sharing links stop working the moment your account is deleted.
